Type Locality and Naming

Upper-middle formation (3 of 4) of Pengnaga Gr


Lithology and Thickness

Limestone (deep-water carbonate platform). Bedded lithographic limestone with intervals of siliceous limestone and chert with local Mn-deposits, and a very distinctive marker horizon of black limestone. Debris flow deposits of lime pebble conglomerate are also common.
